Hi mohamedazar i was unable to connect to asm instance after installing oralce grid software plz let me knw asap…

Hi Mohamed..
I followed your doc…while coming to the disk detection step i mapped the external disk but after that if i click next im getting error like “invalid asm disk”
i tried permissions it’s changing keep on by clicking next ..that is oracle:oinstall to root:disk…help me out in dis
Even i set right permissions before installing, they are changed during installation. Let’s assume we have a disk /dev/sdb. We change permissions by setting chown grid:oinstall /dev/sdb. But on first apply it changes back old permissions to root:disk
