SIEBEL SBL-EAI-04308: Operation ‘uploadReport’ of Web Service

When i‘m trying to upload  files from siebel application, it showing some errors in log file

Solution :

Check your *.xlf file in your server directory path properly named as same like siebel application uploading file name.

Or check whether that particular xlf file there on the same directory.

EBS Patch apply task

I would like to share you this information who willingly to apply patches in ebs environment

Step 1: Download appropriate patches

Step 2: Transfer this file to appropriate location

Step 3: change the application user permission read and write , execute of this file

Step 4: Unzip the patch file and then you should read the README.txt file before you go to apply patches because If this patch said you need to do preinstall a task , you should finish the job before you start the task.

Step 5:  stop the application service $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME\adstpall.sh apps/apps

Step 6: Enable maintenance mode using adadmin

Step 7:  apply the patch using adpatch command.

It will ask where is your patch directory, please locate it.

Autopatch file : example.drv

Step 8 : After successfully applied the patch, you should disable maintenance mode using adadmin

Step 9 : Start the application service $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME\adstrtal.sh apps/apps

Step 10: Finish the job and then go and take a cup of coffee 🙂

ORA-00600 kcratr_nab_less_than_odr when alter database open fails

This is the issues may occur  after power failures

EBS Routine FDPREP cannot read the file report

While users trying to get report from EBS application, they face below issues

Routine FDPREP cannot read the file /u01/ERPPROD/apps/apps_st/appl/xxace/12.0.0/reports/US/test.rep.

Check if the file exists under correct product directory.

Check if the person who started the Concurrent Manager has read privileges on the
Concurrent Manager encountered an error while running Oracle*Report for your concurrent request 3756150.

Solution :

  • Check whether that particular report file exists on the same directory.  The file extension should be *.rdf format.
  • Check read write permission there for that file.
  • If three tiers running in your environment,  try to bounce the application step by step like first application tier and then web tier. Because the concurrent manager process working with application tier.
